Create an Exploding Light Text Effect
In this tutorial I wanted to take a look at a couple of techniques for an exploding text effect.
Different style of text effects can have different great result as long as they are specially designed to match with the background. This flowery text effect can be used to match with some green and natural backgrounds.
This tutorial aims to create an effect similar to the main “O” effect. The other parts of the text have a slightly different effect, which can still be achieved using the basic steps, but with some different values.
This is a strong and eye-catching text effect, though relatively simple to create. We will use techniques including bevel and emboss styles, pattern overlays, and combining different techniques to mock-up the text into a related background.
Spilling effect can be widely applied to any objects including human, animal or even a shoe. As long as the liquid is applied properly and matched with the background object, a nice result can be formed.
This logo graphic on this new Transformers movie box set caught my eye. It’s just a simple TF, but the shape and the use of light and texture are striking.
