To do a proper festival design, first step is to choose the right text style to match with the festival background. Some stylish 3D text effects could be nice to match with this Christmas like this tutorial.
In this tutorial, it is going to show you how to design a Sky Logo. You can choose other words for this design. This design is initiated with few texts “SKY”. Then you start to edit the texture, choose color and finalize it by adjusting the blending mode.
In this tutorial, it will show you how to combine Photoshop with Filter Forge to create a great style text effect. It will show you how to create basic shapes in Photoshop and show you how to convert them to 3D, and finally how to add the final touches using Filter Forge and a few of Photoshop’s basic features.
It uses a little Illustrator for the text and a lot of Photoshop to burn up the screen! Although it looks complicated the process is actually very straight forward. I used only three or four filters, brushes and of course the Layer Styles. As always, the idea is to play around with Photoshop to get your own unique results.
The tutorial will show you to create matrix effect. This effect could probably be improved by using more text layers, especially the smaller ones, and varying the spacing more but at the moment I don’t really care to go back and rewrite the tut for it.
