web 2.o is just another trend that slowly fades away. i hate websites full of shinny glossy rounded big things! grunge style seems to catch a lot of attention lately. I think that a website should stand out if it does not comply with the trends and it catches attention and makes people return. Information displayed it the most valuable thing on a website. the design should make that info stand out in order to succeed.

ofcourse trends are changing and i have noticed myself too, that grunge is getting more popular.
BUT i don't think that web2.0 will fade out that soon. It just hasn't lived it's life yet and it has so much to give. And in some proportions, it will always remain. Grunge style will beat the web2.0 at some time, but it will not take over completely. There will be significant amounts of both. And that's just as long as we'll get sick of grunge too and think of something else. Web 3.0 style maybe? What ever that would be...

But inspired from this same discussion, I make a proposal to photoshop lady crew to make a small subforum, where people could discuss other topics too, asides only photoshop related stuff. Somewehre to talk about designing, inspiration, trends and styles overall.
