Color What's your favourite tool(s) in Photoshop?

Just curious what sort of tool(s) or filters everyone uses most frequently in PS?

This would probably depend on what you're creating, or who you're creating your work for....i think

Personally I love the gradient tool, blur tool and pen tool. I also use preset brushes quite often, just to add a littble bit extra flavour to the image.

Hmm, frequently? That's a touch call, especially considering all the things that can be done in PS. For wallpapers for example, I like to use radial gradients and diagonal line overlay [I made it into a paint pattern] to which I then modify it's visibility by changing the opacity to 10% [makes a nice gray].

I'm doing web-design mostly and the gradient tool is probably one of the most useful things. I also like to play with layer modes alot.

Yeah i do agree with you because there're just too many tools you can use in PS.

Gradient effect seems to be quite trendy there days, seeing lots of images or website got some sort of gradient stuff on, oh as well as drop shadows and reflections.

Ummmm, I usually use the blur tool and brush tool, however, it really depends on what you intend to do. For drawings, you may use the brush tool a little bit more.

I believe every single tool has a unique function and every unique tool has to be learned. I've only learned a few for now, but I trying to get a feel for the others.

I do a lot of web designing, so I like using the gradient tool. I know a few others, but this seems to be the one I'm very knowlegeable about.
