Make a rocky and rusty laptop in Photoshop

G'day everyone,

I was exploring and experimenting different layer blending effects and testing a few filters in photoshop and thought I could share some of my findings in this tutorial.

Here is three versions of the completed work I made:

It's a simple tutorial with no more than 10 steps in the main. The rest is left upon your own creativity.

Hope you enjoy this tutorial and found it useful. Any feedback with the tut content, just drop me a comment. Cheers

I like the third version the most. This is also what I do when I discover a new effect for a wallpaper - just make a bunch of different versions [but I also tweak them independently]. That reminds me, I haven't released a wallpaper pack in a while.

Yeah it's always interesting to explore some new effects, try different combinations and see what kind of result it turns out to be - one reason I love PS!

No more than 10 steps that works for me. I think that I need something like this with a bible in it. I will have to try it hope it turns out the same. Since I am not really a graphics type person. But do know how to follow instructions.
